Have a look at 228 , listed under POLO , a  superb silver cup and cover by Garrard on my website , www.antiquetom.com.  It celebrates the team from 12th Lancers winning the polo challenge cup at Ranelagh in 1913.  AND…. I have also listed an almost identical cup and cover , number 244,  made one year later , and awarded in 1914 for the polo challenge cup at Ranelagh….. and yes, it was also won by the 12th Lancers .
